The Colours Arts in Education Program

Who and What We Are

The Colours Arts in Education Program is an ensemble performing arts program designed to strengthen a student's academic, leadership, interpersonal, and artistic skills. The program does not audition students in order to be a part of the experience.

The Colours Program has a foundational belief that all students can perform and engage an audience and the community at the highest professional levels through structure, guidance, and disciplined expectations. Each student joining Colours is expected to strengthen his or her weaknesses in order to truly understand that success may not be easy; but it is worth the struggle.

A Colours performance is one designed to engage the audience.
It is designed to break down the "fourth wall" and allow the audience
and student to connect on a variety of levels. A Colours presentation
will educate, enlighten, and entertain; no doubt about that one.
