artistic, academic, interpersonal, and leadership skills in all students.

The 2008 Colours Summer Performing Arts Program is based on the philosophy of ensemble student performance.
The entire program is designed to give every student a chance to grow through the learning, rehearsal,
 and production process that is required to put on a high-level professional community production.
The 2008 summer program includes  classes in vocal music, dance, drama, and creative writing &
improvisation. The theme of the 2008 Summer Program is, "One World."

Typical Summer Program Day:
8:45 a.m. – 9: 10 a.m. Welcome & Morning Physical Warm-Ups
9:15 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. 3 Daily Classes in Drama, Dance, Writing, and Vocal Ensemble
11:55 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. Lunch (Bring your own/Refrigeration available)
1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Daily Major Production Workshops
4:00 p.m. – 4:15 p.m. Daily Presentation & Closure
4:15  p.m. Dismissal

The Performance Majors

The Theater Experience:
(ages 11 - 17)
Improv, creative writing, scene development, technical theater skills,
vocal development, dance development, cardio,
Ensemble drama production, "The World" video presentation, and  Ensemble musical production
Production Date: Thursday, July 10th, 2008

The Dance & Movement Experience:
(ages 9 - 11) & (ages 12 -17)
Improv, choreography, cardio, modern dance,
world dance, "beats in motion", jazz, hip-hop,
"The World" video presentation, and The Ensemble dance production
Production Date: Friday, June 11th, 2008

The Jr. Musical Theater Experience
(ages 9-11)
*There are a limited number of spots for 7 & 8 year olds as of 4-13-08
 Vocal Development, Ensemble dance,
cardio, acting skills, Improv, various creative activities,
Ensemble Musical Production &  "The World" video presentation
Production Date: Friday, June 11th, 2008

Tuition Schedule and Payment Due Dates:
*Register before May 1st, 2008 and you are eligible for the payment plan
(Must have balance paid in full by June 2nd , 2008)

*All registrations after May 1st , 2008 must be paid up to 80% of the program tuition
(Must have balance paid in full by June 2nd , 2007)

*Registrations after June 2nd , 2008 must be paid in full upon registration

*Checks accepted until May 30th , 2008
(Money orders, certified checks or cash starting June 1st , 2008)

Tuition Schedule:

January 24th , 2007 -May 20th, 2008:
  $300 for the entire 4 week program (8: 45 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.)
*$175 non-refundable registration payment required to secure registration…applied toward tuition

May 21st, 2008 -June 9th, 2008: (Extended period)
$325 for the entire 4 week program (8:45 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.)
*$175 non-refundable registration payment required to secure registration…applied toward tuition

 
June 10th, 2008 -June 16th, 2008:
$350 for the entire 4 week program (8:45 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.)
*$175 non-refundable registration payment required to secure registration…applied toward tuition

Before & After-Care
*Payment due between June 9th , 2008 – June 16th , 2008 (no checks)
Before Care Only   (7:30 a.m. - 8:45 a.m.)   $100 (for 4 weeks)
After Care Only  (4:15 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.) Before & After Care  $100 (for 4 weeks)
Both Before & After Care: $200 (for 4 weeks)
